I will be at the Cardiff International Comic & Anime Expo on March the 2-3rd. That is this coming weekend to all those with calendar phobias out there. The Event is hosted in the Mercure Holland House on 24-26 Newport Road in Cardiff. The doors open Saturday Morning from 10 until 6 & 10.30 until 5 on the Sunday. These times are for Pre-booked tickets. Tickets on the day are available from 11am. These will be limited availability though, so remember to cue early! I will be Sketching all weekend, 1st come 1st serve. Remember I can only produce so much in a day! For more information about the show & everything else that will be taking place on the weekend click the website here: http://www.fantasyevents.org/cicae/
This Weekend I will be heading back up to the Big Apricot. (As I would like it to be known!) For The London Super Comic Convention. Based in the Excel Centre alongside the Docklands this promises to be one hell of a show. With the biggest creators in Comics from around the world this will be the mecca for all Comics aficionados. The doors open at 9.00 on Saturday morning for early entry, so remember to be bright eyed & busy tailed. You will find me in the Artists Alley at Table C28 on the far wall to your left. Just before you get to the half way point. You could always run down the middle isle & look that big Optimus Prime banner! Pre-orders will be able to be picked up from the morning, and if you have a sketch request come to me 1st thing, as I get full up pretty quick and can only do a limited amount on each day.
I will be at the MCM Midlands Comic Con this Saturday 16th February! You will find me in the Comic Village section of the show. Sketching what ever challenge you can come up with, Wonder Woman, Batman, Turtles or Spiderman, Even a Pig in a Bra if you like! The Show takes place at The Telford International Centre, in St Quentin Gate, Shropshire. Doors open at 9.30 for Early Entry until 5pm. Hope you can make it! So it's Tuesday Night and I am finally in recovery mode from the SFBall weekender. What a grand weekend it was too. With great Guests, Staff & attendees. I don't think a show could possibly be more welcoming and friendly. I arrived early on Friday afternoon and was kindly picked up at the station, though the event was really only around the corner. Although the Train Journey was a four hour jaunt all in. I guess I could have flown to spain in that time! But I digress. I settled in Nice and Early and got myself in my nice comfortable position behind my table. That was the easy part, I am used to it after all. The guests were all gathered together in the Green Room around 6.00 to prepare for our stage appearance. Alongside Robert Rankin, J.A Saare, Fwah Storm (Reload) Miltos Yerolemou (Game of Thrones) Armin Shimerman (Buffy) Max Grodenchick (Deep Space 9), Star Trek writers Diane Duane, Peter Morewood, & David Gerrold. There was me Burger King in hand, Garbage Pail t-shirt & hoodie. Oh yes of course everyone else was dressed up! What was I thinking? This was a ball after all, then the quickest quick change I have ever done. Shirt + Boots = Tick. Then all of a sudden I found myself microphone in hand in front of 300 attendees where I did my very best impression of Lee Bradley not being too inappropriate on stage.
