Hey I'm well known for my last Minute desisons, so here's another one! I am pleased to say I will be joining TEAM ZUKES us on Sunday at Collectormania 20 in Milton Keynes!

You will find me at the show at their Comic Tables doing what I do best, no not dancing, Sketching!

I will be selling original artwork, prints and taking orders for sketches & Sketch Covers!

Please note I AM ONLY THERE ON SUNDAY!

So I can only produce so much, So make sure you get to me early at Collectormania 20!!!

Next Weekend I Will be flying out to Brussels and then onwards to Ghent for F.A.C.TS.2013!

I will be there as a Guest Sketching away for any and all comers to the show. Whatever your request remember I can only produce so much work when I am at the show, so it will be 1st Come 1st serve!

WINTER LFCC REVIEW

Although the Saturday was slower than I expected, the Sunday seemed to pick up and had a nice flow throughout the day. There was time to chat, draw and have a few giggles with the banter than was on hand.

One of the sketches I did (opposite) was for Mike DX, which featured himself with his favorite Autobot Optimus Prime. What was nice was to see how happy Mike was with his sketch. He actually looked quite taken aback, and proclaimed "Its even better than I could have ever imagined!" Which brought a smile to my face!

Another of the covers I produced was Batman/Superman, (Below) which I really enjoyed doing.

(At some point I am going to have to gather all these cover images together, Gallery Anyone?)

As usual I had the mix of Transformers, Superheros, and a steady request for the Merc with a mouth himself, Deadpool. To see more images of sketches just join in with my twitter/facebook/instagram feeds.

One Awesome Frenzy.... oops Rumble ;)

A taxi ride to New Street. An hour and a half to London via virgin trains. Three stops through the London Underground and then one Overground stop, and still I get there before 9.00! I think I must of had a bit of practice at this.

Early starts and sketching on the train put me in the mindset for the show, now how was this one? For a start We were located in a different part of the show, instead of the central row we were on the far left, which I am sure affected the footfall. Although not as busy as the July show, which is to be expected. The numbers seemed up on what was previously known as EMS.

This did give me a bit more time on the sketches I produced and more time to talk to each person I was sketching for. Which was a nice change of pace for me. Sometimes the intensity of the Big Shows can get to be a bit much!

Also it does seem as though Sketch Covers are starting to be starting to become the flavour of the day. Which I do find quite fun, as they are always tricky to do.

I think what I have come to realise after this show more than anything, is how much I enjoy these shows. It's not just the banter or sketching, or even some of the crazy things I get to see. It's the friendships I make.

These shows have such a friendly vibe to them, kids, teenagers, adults, All there just to have fun. Its Almost an escape from the usual attitude of negativity that many people can posses. Everyone I seem to meet is there for one reason. To have fun, smile and enjoy themselves, which is something I really like.

Its almost a feeling of being one large family, where not everyone agrees on everything, but everyone does agree on one thing. Lets just have fun!

I think this last photo says it far more eloquently than I ever could. A whole family of Transformers just out to enjoy themselves. That's right, check out that baby Optimus Prime! :D

DEMONCON 6

I was invited over to Demoncon 6 last weekend for a one day show. I had been asked for several years, and each time I was either double booked or had too much work on. This time though the stars were in alignment which enabled me to make the jaunt.

This was the 1st time I had been over to Maidstone, in this job I do get to see places that I would had probably never thought of checking out.

The Mini con was set in the Royal Star Arcade opposite the Grinning Demon Comic Shop run by Graham Beadle, who also set up and organizes the Convention.

It was a nice location with plenty of Natural Light which is always a bonus when your sketching. It also had a nice atmosphere where everyone was friendly. It was good to do a show with smaller numbers as it gave me the chance to chat one to one with several people, which is not always the easiest thing to do at big shows.

It is a show I would definitely recommend going along to if you want a nice friendly day out. If your in the area for the next show, make sure you pop along to check it out.

MARS ATTACKS INVASION!

More than 50 years after its debut, 2013 Topps Mars Attacks Invasion is the first set to focus solely on a new story line.

I am pleased to say I will be contributing Art packaged within this new set!

This new set sticks with the original's tradition of fully painted artwork and takes on a new script.

Every 2013 Topps Mars Attacks Invasion box will contain 1 Sketch Card per box. A total of 50 packs will contain four-card puzzles and there are Creator Sketch Cards that come with a different design from regular cards.

There will also be Classic Autographs featuring classic Artists and Actors from the Hit Film!

Keep your eyes peeled, or the Martians will do it for you!

The 1st CARDIFF FILM & COMIC CON

Not long back from the 1st Cardiff Film and Comic Con and now in recovery mode. This wasn't the 1st show I have attended in Cardiff but it certainly was the biggest. I heard estimates of attendance of 20,000 which honestly wouldn't surprise me. Many people I spoke told told me queues snaked all around the Motorpoint arena.

I had a great time at the show and met many great people. Lot's of 1st timers plus many people I had met before at one event or another. I also had the chance to catch up with a few of my Artist and industry buddies which is always a pleasure.

Speaking of other Artists I had the chance to meet up with longtime Pal and sometime collaborator Simon Soul-man Williams and his new mate the Hoff. Yep that's right David HasselHoff.

Over the weekend I had many requests and top of the list were sketch covers. Which is Something I enjoy doing as you never know what requests people may come up with. Below are a few samplings.
