Look forward to seeing you there! http://www.computersandcomics.com Last Sunday I had the chance to pop down to CICE. The CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL COMIC EXPO held at the MERCURE HOTEL. The show, more of a Mini-Con was a practice run for next years plannedmuch larger Two-Day Event. Unlike a lot of shows, the pace was relaxed, where I was able to slide off my kicks (literally) and interact more with the attendees and other Artists whilst sketching. The doors opened from 11.00 until 5.00. With an attendance of over 500 turning up and many a Cosplayer in tow. It was nice to have a constant crowd but without the usual pressure of a larger event. Which gave me more time to chat to everyone individually that were in attendance. It was also good to chat away with my fellow guests especially Mike Collins who was sitting beside me. I got to draw a nice mix of characters on the day, with a few unusual requests including a Tron style Captain America, which was challenging, but fun. A big thanks to Mike Alwood for the invite. & hopefully I will make it back down next year!
