 Now MARVEL PREMIER, That's where it's at. So to be head hunted by UPPER DECK Cards alongside such greats as NEIL ADAMS to produce an Exclusive range of Sketch Cards for their FLEER MARVEL PREMIER Sets was joy.
So when I received the go ahead from UPPER DECK asking if I would like to work for them & do the cards in my style however I want, it brought a smile to my face. Thsese cards are not like any I have seen before, these are not standard Sketch Cards. Instead they come as whole raft of Cards with Individual Characters names on, Pictures, Bio and stats of that individual Hero or Villian! There are gate-fold cards, triple gate-fold cards, quadruple cards, I can't wait to show you! No sneak-peaks though, I'm just not allowed! I LOVE MARVEL COMICS!  I have been flooded with requests for commissioned art recently. With The London Super Comic Con on the way I am accepting a limited number of pre-convention commissions for pick up at this show.
Advantages to having a Pre-Convention Sketch? 1. You avoid a queue! If you have seen me at a convention I'm pretty much welded to my seat from show opening till close sketching. 2.You are Guaranteed a sketch, I can only take on so many at a show. 3. In my studio I can take a bit more time on your piece, I can use more Varied Art materials and do not have to rush.  The Weekend after I will be in Manchester for The MCM Manchester Comic Con! Taking place on Saturday the 20th July, this one day show was the busiest 1 Day Event I went to Last Year. From the scale of the way the attendance figures of these shows have been shooting up, I expect this to Eclipse last years show and then some! Hope to See you there! Spider-Man versus Dr. Octopus, the Fantastic Four versus Dr. Doom, the X-Men versus Magneto -- the Marvel Universe was built on epic encounters of good fighting evil. That's the focus of 2013 Marvel Greatest Battles, a set that boasts a pair of sketch cards in every box. I am pleased to announce I will be one of the contributing Artists to this great set. The 2013 base set has 90 cards that center on the biggest match-ups in the company's rich history. These battles really are the centerpiece of it all. Without Red Skull, there would be no Captain America. Thor would be less interesting if it were not for Loki. Comic fans would have a lot less to talk about if it weren't for the occasional match-up pitting hero against hero, like The Incredible Hulk vs The Ever Loving Thing. Every 2013 Rittenhouse Marvel Greatest Battles box comes with a pair of sketch cards that fit together to make a puzzle. Every puzzle has a minimum of two characters.
