 I have been flooded with requests for commissioned art recently. With The London Super Comic Con on the way I am accepting a limited number of pre-convention commissions for pick up at this show.
Advantages to having a Pre-Convention Sketch? 1. You avoid a queue! If you have seen me at a convention I'm pretty much welded to my seat from show opening till close sketching. 2.You are Guaranteed a sketch, I can only take on so many at a show. 3. In my studio I can take a bit more time on your piece, I can use more Varied Art materials and do not have to rush. That's right folks, with JULY almost upon us, you will find me at a trilogy of shows over consecutive weekends!  First Up is the Big One, The London Film & Comic Con from Friday the 5th July to the 7th. Last Year I only intended to be there on the Saturday, but it was so good I travelled all the way back to London to be there on the Sunday too! This time You will find me there all weekend, so drop by & make sure you say Hi!
 The Weekend after I will be in Manchester for The MCM Manchester Comic Con! Taking place on Saturday the 20th July, this one day show was the busiest 1 Day Event I went to Last Year. From the scale of the way the attendance figures of these shows have been shooting up, I expect this to Eclipse last years show and then some! Hope to See you there! Unfortunately due to the volume of work I currently have on, I currently will not be taking Pre-Orders for these shows, So You will have to come and find me!  I am pleased to announce I will be contributing 100 Sketch Cards to the new Star Wars Galactic Files Series 2! Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of A New Hope, Topps is releasing its most ambitious Star Wars card set to date! This massive 350-card collector's set covers the characters, creatures and vehicles from all 6 films as well as the Expanded Universe and The Clone Wars. Like the first release, the 2013 Topps Star Wars Galactic Files 2 base set once again comes with 350 cards. . 2013 Topps Star Wars Galactic Files 2 boxes come with a pair of premium inserts. Sketch cards fall one per box. Autographs (1:55 packs) come with 20 different signers covering the six films. Confirmed for the set are Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian). So get hunting as these cards will be Rare! Yes that's right in a mere 10 days The SF Ball will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Deep Space Nine. A fantastic and intense three day social experience that has a unique atmosphere generated by hundreds of enthusiastic attendees. I will be there to provide sketches of your favorite characters, I will also have original comic art with me, plus Mars Attacks & Star Wars Sketch cards available! The 3 Day Weekend starts with a bang with the official dancers night out at the Friday night disco, then dine in real style on Saturday at the formal and fabulous full 3-course black-tie or fancy dress Banquet with late-night cabaret and dancing until 2am. Finally on Sunday sing to your hearts content at the Karaoke-Disco until midnight. The fun just doesn't stop. Friday night's theme is Quarks Bar. Saturday night's theme for The Ball itself is All things Star Trek - so plenty of scope for costumes! Sunday night's theme is Fantasy, Myths & Legends. Add to this the star guests, autographs, celebrity photo sessions and more - it's a weekend that all attendees will remember for the rest of the year! See you there!
