On Saturday I left my signing in Lichfield and jumped straight in the car as I began my journey up to Leeds. As I decided to check out the Thought Bubble Festival. I hadn't been there before so I figured this was as good a time as any.
Although extreamly last minute the organisers were kind enough to let me have a table to show my wares and get on with sketches for the waiting public.
The show was a lot of fun and had the vibe of some of the classic shows I remember. Although apparently less crowded on the sunday. It was full of very attractive girls in cosplay, wether they were dressed in leather as cat-woman or scantily clad like the fantastic looking Red Sonja that was patrolling the halls.
I was asked for quite a few Transformers sketches though the day, which is not surprising as I had a giant Tf Banner behind me! A few samplings of which are here.
Heres hoping I will get the chance to see more of Thought Bubble next year. Though after driving there, I think it will be the train for me :)
